The story starts from the life of a high school student, Shinichi Kudou who is famous for his detective work. He can easily solve any kind of puzzle or mystery and has solved various tough cases. One day, he saw some suspicious men and started to follow them and saw something illegal there. He was the only witness of that illegal activity and unfortunately, he got caught there and then they gave him drugs that led him to death. Luckily he woke up but in the body of a seven-year-old boy with that intelligence level as before. He hid his identity from his best friend and even from his family and started to solve various mysteries. He started to use the name Detective Conan from his favorite detective novelist, and in search of that case, and wanted to know the way to get back.
